Is using chlorine bleach a good product to clean / remove mold from my home?

Chlorine bleach can kill or control most types of molds including viruses, bacteria, and algae. However, use of bleach has to be used with care. If misapplied, it can be harmful or even lethal. A bleach solution of no more than 1 cup (250 mL) household laundry bleach per 4 L of water may be used to kill mold on surfaces. It is important to remember that bleach would not offer a permanent solution to the mold problem. The recommend way to deal with mold growth is to remove any moldy material that cannot be easily cleaned and to eliminate the moisture source.
